Funeral services for Patricia Naonne Mitchell, 38, of Helena, will be held at noon, Saturday, Nov. 24 at the Beautiful Zion M.V. Church with Rev. Danny Robinson officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 23 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Stephens Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will be in Jackson Memorial Garden. Patricia Naonne Mitchell was born Nov. 24, 1973 to Earnest Lee Mitchell and Mary Mitchell of Helena. She attended Central High School where she graduated in 1992. She attended Phillips Community College where she received an Associate's degree in early childhood education. She worked at Buchannon Daycare and was later employed by Mid-Delta Head Start where she was the lead teacher until her health began to fail Her father, Earnest Lee Mitchell, two brothers, Earnest Lee Mitchell Jr. and Kevin Lamar Mitchell, her grandfather, MacArthur Ingram, precede her in death. Sister Patricia confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Beautiful Zion M.B. Church. She remained a faithful member there. She worked in many different auxiliaries in the church such as usher, Sunday School teacher, choir director and youth choir director. She also was a mentor and motivator for many people that she came in contact. She loved her family, pastor, church family and friends. She was a loyal and dedicated member of her church throughout her illness until the Lord called her home to be at rest. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Shakeedra Bridgett and Jeralyn Van, both of Helena; her mother and grandmother, Mary Mitchell and Dorothy Ingram, both of Helena; six brothers, Darriel Mitchell of Helena, Ronald Mitchell of Pine Bluff, Timothy Mitchell of Little Rock, Kenneth Mitchell of Helena, Cedrick Mitchell and Jonathan Mitchell, both of Little Rock; a sister, Jennifer Mitchell of Helena; five nieces and five nephews, Christopher Mitchell, Lakendra Mitchell, Lakenya Mitchell, Lanahyaa Mitchell, Jatoria Mitchell, Audra Mitchell, Anthony Washington, Arl Washington Jr., Khayton Mitchell and Shacorie Mitchell; a cousin, Jackie Hall, with whom she grew up with; and host of uncles, aunts, cousins; and friends who will miss her dearly.
