  • Cougars, Cougarettes open 2012 basketball season

  • Basketball season officially opened for the Central High School Cougars and Cougarettes Friday night with the teams squaring off against area rivals the Marvell Mustangs at the Central Gymnasium. The two teams will meet again Tuesday night at Marvell. Central won the boys game, 88-47. The Cougarettes won the girls game, 54-32.
