Arkansas ranked 10th in preseason coaches' poll

A new USA Today preseason coaches' poll ranks Arkansas 10th in the nation.
The Razorbacks had a much higher ranking on Thursday than they did in the 2011 preseason, when they came in at 19.
Arkansas will return 47 lettermen and 16 starters from last year's 11-2 campaign, which ended with a 29-16 victory over Kansas State in the AT&T Cotton Bowl. The Razorbacks were ranked fifth in the final coaches' poll last season, marking the program's first top-five finish since 1977.
Arkansas opens the 2012 football season at home against Jacksonville State on Sept. 1 at 6 p.m.
