David Earl Moore was born May 11, 1947 to Frank Theodore Moore and Vera Mae Gage in Phillips County. He professed Christ and was water baptized at an early age. He passed away at home on Monday morning, July 30, 2012. Farm life meant early mornings caring for the farm animals, tending to the fields, and late evenings. As a teen, David's parents came to rely upon him more and more to help be a parental figure when they were away. They knew they could count on him to look after his siblings. Until his death, he lived a simple life on the farm… always having a trusty dog at his side. Whether he was called Hood, Sneezy, Junior, Brother, or simply David, many loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Vera Moore, brothers, Theodore Moore, Michael Moore and Leodis Moore and a niece, Tiffany Ann Brooks-Thurston. He leaves to cherish his memory, five sons, David Wayne Moore of Omaha, Neb., Raymond Earl Moore of Omaha, Marcus J. (Kareca) Moore of Omaha, Timothy (Sonya) Moore of Muskogee, Okla. and Edward Moore of Omaha; a brother, James Curtis Moore of Marvell; four sisters, Ethel (Dwight) Brooks of Little Rock, Gloria Greenwood of Washington, D.C., Algie (Charles) Johnson of Little Rock and Brenda Hills of Mabelvale; three grandchildren; and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
