Aleene Feemster departed this earthly journey on April 18, 2012 in Little Rock.

Aleene Feemster departed this earthly journey on April 18, 2012 in Little Rock. She was born on May 17, 1929, in West Helena to the late William and Mary Aaron.  She lived in West Helena all her life.
She confessed a hope in Christ at any early age at Freedonia Missionary Baptist Church where her family attended.  While being a faithful member, she worked as an usher for many years.  On Aug. 2, 1947 she married Johnnie Feemster to this union no children were born.  She worked at Unique Cleaners and Chicago Mill where she met many close friends.  After she retired she stayed home and took care of children and her garden.
Aleene, affectionately known as Auntie to everyone, was a wonderful, loving and caring person that took pride in her home and her garden.  She was nurturing to many, like a mother, although she never gave birth to any.  She would give her last to make sure you were taken care of.  She would never complain about helping out her family.
Her parents, 14 siblings, husband Johnnie Feemster, a stepson Jeffery Feemster, and a niece Stephanie Cole, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a sister, Nellie Scoggins; 12 nieces and nephews of whom she raised Carter (Rose) Pruitt, James Pruitt, Brenda Alexander, Linda Brantley, James Aaron, Larry Aaron, Shirley Aaron, Sandra Aaron, Kaiesha (Jessie) McGruder, Kyra Brantley, Dominic Roston, Chantelle Cole, three stepchildren, Cedric Pride, Brenda Pride, Derrick Feemster, Lajun (Valora) Cole, and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
