Delta Heritage Trail State Park will be hosting its 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, weather permitting, Saturday, April 7 at 10 a.m., at their grounds at 5539 Highway 49 near Barton.

 



Delta Heritage Trail State Park will be hosting its 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, weather permitting, Saturday, April 7 at 10 a.m., at their grounds at 5539 Highway 49 near Barton.  Bring your child a basket.  They are not provided.  Admission is free to everyone.  Kids 0-12 can hunt eggs.  Please have your children here before 10 a.m. because hunt will begin at 10 sharp.



  Delta Heritage Trail State Park is a rails-to-trails conversion, that when completed will take you through the southeast part of the Delta along the 73 mile former Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way from Lexa to Cypress Bend, northeast of McGhee.



Delta Heritage Trail State Park now has 14 miles of continuous trail completed.  This completed portion now goes from Lexa to Lake View.
