Two people are dead and the apparent gunman was left in critical condition after shootings in St. Francis County.

The Tuesday night slayings left a man dead in Forrest City and a woman dead in Haynes, where her husband was found alive but with a gunshot wound to the head.

State police say 53-year-old Larry Stacy was shot several times in his Forrest City home and died at a hospital. A witness told police the shooter was 48-year-old Ronaldo Westbrook.

Police went to the home of Westbrook's estranged wife in Haynes and found 39-year-old Tracey Westbrook dead and Ronaldo Westbrook found badly.

The Times-Herald reports (http://is.gd/kclz8s ) Ronaldo Westbrook was flown to the Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., where he was in critical condition.
