Funeral services for Rosie Lee Walker will be Saturday, July 23 at 2 p.m. at the P.L.M.&D District Center. Visitation will be Friday, July 22 in the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens.
Sister Rosie Lee Walker was born Jan. 31, 1931 to the late Willie Bell Hughes and Jessie Davis Sr. She confessed hope in Christ at Blackfoot Church and later joined Morning Star Baptist Church. 
She departed this life July 12, 2011 at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Davis Sr., mother, Willie Bell Hughes; three brothers, Jessie Davis Jr., Norman Davis and Barnette Davis; a sister, James Ola Bennett; four children, Leo Harris, Dorothy Robinson, Betty Robinson and Della Miller. 
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Lee Oscar Gaines of Milwaukee, Wis., Harry Robinson of Helena and Jim Walker Jr.; two daughters, Patricia (Roy) Fuller, Diana Mae Gaines of Milwaukee; six brothers, Tommy Davis (Wilcah), Nat Lee Hughes Jr. (Carolyn) of Helena-West Helena, Hezekiah Hughes, Ralph Hughes (Evelyn) of Chicago, Dazell Hughes of New York, Curtis Hughes of Jonesboro; nine sisters, Eliza Jackson of Toledo, Ohio, Odessa Smith of Peachtree, Ga., Elnora Hughes, Mary Hughes of Chicago,  Christine Craig(Leroy) of Helena-West Helena, Doris Davis, Deloris Parker, Earnestine Brown of Saginaw, Mich., Linda(Michael) Jackson of Milwaukee; and 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, cousins, friends; and an adopted daughter, Beverly Parker.
