A Helena-West Helena man told police Thursday that he was robbed at gunpoint as he was giving a known acquaintance a ride.

 

A Helena-West Helena man told police Thursday that he was robbed at gunpoint as he was giving a known acquaintance a ride.
Jonathan Jones, 21, said the incident occurred around 4 p.m. According to Jones’ report to police, he picked up 21-year-old Zebedee Borum in the 500 block of McDonough Street to help him locate his brother, 25-year-old Cedric Richardson.
After locating his brother, Richardson and Borum allegedly robbed Jones at gunpoint.
Taken from Jones was $50 in cash, his cell phone and his car keys.
At this time police are attempting to locate the two men who are wanted in connection with the armed robbery.
