A 20-year old and two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, all of West Helena were arrested Monday, Jan. 17 and charged with breaking or entering and criminal mischief.


A 20-year old and two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, all of West Helena were arrested Monday, Jan. 17 and charged with breaking or entering and criminal mischief after they allegedly attempted to break into a coin box at a Helena-West Helena car wash.
Justin Hudson, 20, is in custody in the county jail on a $26,000 bond. The juveniles are being held in the juvenile detention facility on charges of breaking or entering and criminal mischief until they appear before juvenile court later in the week.
A concerned citizen informed police that three males were attempting to break into the coin machines at the Fifth Street car wash. Lt. Neil Byrd and Cpl. Dale Acosta responded to the call and apprehended Hudson and the two juveniles. Extensive damage was done to the coin box, the wash stall and the vacuum cleaner.
