Funeral services for Adrian Peacock, 80, of Helena were held 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Helena. Brother Hershel Mooneyham and Rev. Cliff Bernard officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park.
Peacock, born Oct. 20, 1930 to Arthur Lampton Peacock and Vivian Barrett Peacock in Selma, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 in Jackson, Miss.
Peacock married and made a home for his family while owning Peacock's Pleasure Products and in later years Y-Camp Motors. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Adrian leaves two sons, John Arthur Peacock (Cheryl Anderson) of Jackson, Miss. and Gary Adrian Peacock (Gretchen Hargis Peacock) of Sharpsburg, Ga.; a brother, Jimmy Dale Peacock (Marion) of Sapulpa, Okla.; and 11 grandchildren, Hannah Grace, Samuel Chadwick, Micah Levi, Matthew Jordan, Sarah Joy, Philip Nathanael, Andrew Marshall, Gideon Aaron, William Caleb, Joshua Carter and Benjamin Barrett Peacock; and many nieces and nephews.
His loving wife of 45 years, Anna Lou Mosley Peacock and a brother, Joseph Alton Peacock of North Little Rock, preceded Adrian in death.
Pallbearers were Samuel Peacock, Micah Peacock, Caleb Peacock, Joshua Peacock, Keiron Peacock, Perrin Peacock, Allen Crisp and Joseph Blundell.
