Barbara Nell White, 86, of Memphis and formerly of Lonoke died Sunday, June 20 in Brownsville, Tenn.  Mrs. White was born March 4, 1924 in Helena to the late E.O. Porter and the late Artie Booth Porter.

 

Barbara Nell White, 86, of Memphis and formerly of Lonoke died Sunday, June 20 in Brownsville, Tenn.  Mrs. White was born March 4, 1924 in Helena to the late E.O. Porter and the late Artie Booth Porter.
She leaves a son, Bill White (Pat) of North Little Rock; a daughter, Nancy White (James Guthrie) of Brownsville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Kasey Schluterman and Kerri Walker; and a great-grandson, Luke Schluterman.
Her parents, her husband, M.L. White, brothers, Jess Porter and Harold Porter, and sisters, Varnie Steele and Betty Rawls, preceded her in death.
Services for Barbara White will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, June 24 at Roller-Citizens.  A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lonoke.  Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens.  Rev. Rodger Hooker will officiate.
Pallbearers are Allen Kirk, Bill White, Jamie Guthrie and Bobby Guthrie.
