The Helena District Court cases involving two aldermen – Bruce Hudson and Tommy Hunt  – have been continued to July 8.

 

The Helena District Court cases involving two aldermen – Bruce Hudson and Tommy Hunt  – have been continued to July 8.
  Louis Etoch, attorney for Hudson, requested and was granted the continuances Thursday by District Judge Robert Serio of Clarendon, who was serving as special jurist.
  Hunt’s case was continued at the request of Don Etherly who is representing John Huff, a Helena-West Helena city employee.
   Hudson is charged with four counts dating back to April 26 – driving while under the influence, operating a motorcycle without a proper license, driving the motorcycle with a fictitious tag and refusal to submit to a Breathalyzer test.
   Hunt filed charges against Huff stemming for an alleged April 27 altercation in the 500 block of St. Jean Street in Helena-West Helena.
   Serio was serving as special jurist after Helena District Judge Durwood King and West Helena District Judge Rusty Porter recused themselves.
