A woman who identified herself as the mother of the 8-year-old boy who was shot in a foot by a driveby shooter Monday told the Daily World Thursday he was airlifted to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital at Little Rock.

 

A woman who identified herself as the mother of the 8-year-old boy who was shot in a foot by a driveby shooter Monday told the Daily World Thursday he was airlifted to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital at Little Rock.
    The woman said the bullet fractured the foot when it passed through the boy’s body. The woman said she was staying with her son during his recovery period. She said the boy was walking with an aunt along 4th and Garland Streets at the time
   The Helena-West Helena Police is still investigating the incident.
