Cordell Hall, 22, of Helena-West Helena was treated at Helena Regional Medical Center Sunday evening after he was shot in the foot.
Helena-West Helena Police detective Roy Covington said at this time that details of how the accident actually happened are sketchy. However, he will have more information at a later date.
The Criminal Investigation Division of the Police Department is investigating the shooting.

A man who lives in the 700 block of Mimosa reported to police last Wednesday (Feb. 17) that someone entered his house and stole two of his rifles. Entry was apparently gained through a back door.

A man who lives in the 600 block of Northridge told police last Friday (Feb. 19) that his stepson took the family's 1999 Ford Explorer without his permission and struck the side of the house with the vehicle and ran over a gate knocking it down. Approximately 20 minutes later the man received a call informing him the teen was running through a yard on North 12th Street.
Over $6,000 in damage was reported to the car and the house.
