Two Central High School girls’ father took them to Helena Regional Medical Center after several girls attacked them on the parking lot of the school last Friday.
One of the girls was treated for a cut on the right side of her face, scrapes, and bruises on her back, arm and chest. She also had a place on her head where a large clump of hair had been pulled out.
The sister reported that their attackers also rushed her and she wound up with several bruises on her back, arms and face.
The girls told police the attack stemmed from an incident that occurred last year.

On Sunday, January 24 police went to the 100 block of South Eighth Street when two men began arguing over some puppies.
One of the men wound up with a swollen eye and a bloody nose and went to Helena Regional for treatment. The other man received a cut under his left eye and on the left side of his neck.

A woman who lives in the 500 block of Poplar Street told police last week that her residence was broken into and was ransacked.

A woman who lives in the 400 block of Joyner Drive reported to police Sunday that her residence was broken into. A window screen was cut in order to gain entry.
Missing from the woman's home are a Dell computer, a monitor, two picture frames and two mirrors.

A man who lives on Phillips County 300 Road told police Saturday that his 200 Dodge truck was stolen from South Third Street. The license tags on the car are 404OJY.

A man who lives in the 600 block of Poplar Street reported to police last Tuesday that someone entered his home and stole his medication and two packs of cigarettes.

A man who lives in the Westwood area of  Helena-West Helena told police last Tuesday that his house on Ashlar Street was broken into. The man told police he was in the process of remodeling and that the copper wiring had been taken from the walls and ceiling.

A man who lives in the 300 block of Holly Street reported to police that his cell phone was stolen from his home last Friday.

An Elaine woman reported to police Friday, Jan. 22 that her 2006 Hyundai, while parked on the Boys & Girls Club parking lot was vandalized. Someone put scratches on the side, trunk, damaged both sides, the front door and cut deep scratches across the trunk. The vandals also slashed one of the tires.
