Greenwood District Judge Wayland Parker II fined Mayor Ken Edwards $1,000, but said $750 of the fine would be suspended if Edwards makes public apologies.
Edwards received a misdemeanor citation after an incident in mid-October in which he was caught at 2:30 a.m. with three of the signs. The mayor had previously described the incident as a misunderstanding.
