Helena-West Helena plice are watching residents automobiles as car thefts are prominant. 

Several Helena-West Helena residents had their vehicles broken into the past few days.
A man who lives in the 200 block of North Sixth St. reported to police Saturday that someone broke into his pickup truck. The man came outside and noticed the side window on the passenger side was broken out and the interior was ransacked. The man’s billfold was found on the ground with the contents scattered. The thief also broke the center console and threw it on the floor.
A man who lives in the 600 block of Cooke St. reported Tuesday that the driver’s side window was broken out on his vehicle.
Another vehicle break-in was reported Tuesday in the 500 block of Northridge. This time, two vehicles had windows broken out and $200 in cash and a ratchet set were taken.
A man who lives in the 500 block of West Cleburne told police Wednesday morning that his house was broken into by removing an air conditioner from a living room window. The intruder ransacked the house and then stole the air conditioner.
